If you haven't heard of Seborga, I'm right there with you: it's one of those "micronations" - those tiny places where people happily announce that they are their own country, whatever government might be in actual operation, in this case, aided by a tiny flicker of historical justification, a need to attract more tourists, and legends of the Holy Grail. I love this sort of thing, and eventually plan to establish my own little kingdom, complete with utterly invalid stamps and fake money. Also, an official chocolate, because it wouldn't be a real country without chocolate.
