New Goblin Fruit!
Apr. 14th, 2011 08:57 amSo, the the next issue of Goblin Fruit is up, with gorgeous work by
catvalente,
csecooney and others. (
csecooney, two of us already want video of you performing this poem. It has been decreed.)
The poems would ordinarily be enough for me to draw your attention to it, but, wait, there's more. First, this is apparently Goblin Fruit's fifth anniversary, which in internet terms, and especially in poetic internet terms, is a bit stunning. Second, to celebrate this, Goblin Fruit is holding a contest, with, like prizes and everything, a contest that doesn't just support Goblin Fruit, but other zines focused on or publishing speculative poetry. Let's face it: I'm addicted to these sorts of poems, which is why I want to see more of them and more places publishing them.
So, go, read, wonder. And keep an eye out for goblins in the corners. They like words, you know, and can be soothed with poems, one reason to keep these sorts of poems around.
