I don't see how anyone could fail to ship Charles/Erik after seeing this film Haha, yes--the film is just a giant ship-generating engine. I guess the "inexplicable" part is simply why I've become so invested in Charles/Erik, considering how ludicrous (and often offensive) the film is as a whole. But, yes, one can always dream of a less-annoying Charles. *smile*
