Temporary uncommunition

If you're trying to hear from me today, and haven't, this is for two unrelated reasons: one, I seriously feel like crap, and two, I've just been informed by the neighbors that Brighthouse confirmed that the weather is causing difficulties with the cable, which works both for my internet and phone.

I do love watching rain like this, so heavy that everything is seen through a grey moving curtain. I just wish it would leave the cable alone.

Just as an addendum to my last post: Winter Garden has received 9.76 inches of rain since Monday...and it's still pouring.

Ah, Florida, where one week you're braced for UNSTOPPABLE WILDFIRES and the next week merrily flooding.
