marinessI realize, of course, that I am an all powerful, almighty person. Food pours from my hands into little cat bowls, if not precisely the food that all creatures would really prefer. I twist shiny metal things, and water comes out. I clip claws. I can dangle furry things if necessary. I cruelly put evil things with the power to kill fleas deep within the fur - all the way to the skin - of small creatures. I can - and do - cruelly pull said creatures off the top of the aquarium to continue to allow the peaceful existence of cats and fish together.
With all this said, I am not responsible for the cold!!!! It's a cold front! Really! Really!

On a related note, if you, too, would like to hear weather reports delivered at loud volume complete with emphatic paw action in a series of unhappy wails from creatures angry about a) the chill and b) my unmistakable cruelty in keeping the balcony door shut, because, to repeat, chill, I advise you to invest in a Siamese or half-Siamese cat.
(I realize, of course, that many of you are reading this and saying, "chill? She's in Florida! HA HA HA! LET ME TELL HER ABOUT ACTUAL SHOVELING AND SNOW! True, true. My upstate New York experience laughs at me. But temperatures have been dipping below freezing here and are not going to go too high today, so, you know, cold! Indeed, any colder, and Florida residents will cease to exist. Which some of you might regard as a plus. In the meantime, I have prepared by having copious supplies of hot chocolate and tea on hand.)
