Ok, I'm all for facials and skin masks and retaining young and healthy looking skin, but I confess myself utterly bewildered by this skin care trend: 24 karat gold face masks.
My reaction might well be colored by the fact that I have to coat all of my metal jewelry, and particularly my gold jewelry, in clear nail polish before I can wear it, so my initial reaction to the concept of splashing gold on my face was, "ITCH ITCH ITCH," but even apart from the allergic part, why on earth would anyone even think to waste gold on face creams/masks and so on?

I reckon you haven't had to face the grim reality of a crown replacement yet, but by then the ceramic versions will be all groovy (I hope).

What do you mean, unrealistic?
