Roofing and books

Watching shingles drift up to the roof - however guided by man made machine, and carefully and safely bundled - is always a bit disorienting.
On a related note, I may be out for most of tomorrow since that's the day tentatively scheduled for nailing the shingles into the roof, something I don't exactly care to be present for. (The dumping of shingles on the roof is loud enough). They have been moving remarkably quickly, however (based on the other buildings) and I don't exactly object to spending a day holed up in a library for awhile.
Which reminds me of a conversation I had last night with
wyldemusick, who was commenting that books were starting to take over his house and had indeed begun the hostile takeover of his kitchen. Now, as a friend, I should have provided solid prudent advice.
I'm a terrible friend. I cheered on the books. Which is just to say that if you're contacting me about a book collection obsession, I'm just not the person who can help.
