marinessAfter putting down the Donner Party book I next picked up Rick Perlstein's Nixonland.
Frankly the entirely Donner Party expedition is looking less horrifying.
The timing on this is, I assure you, just coincidental - I ordered the Donner Party book several days before Nixonland, but the library just happened to deliver them one day after the other.
