House of Stairs
May. 26th, 2011 11:15 amThis was the first Tor.com post to give me literal nightmares - as in, I reread the book, started to write the post, fell asleep, dreamed I was falling off stairs, woke up, went back to sleep, dreamed I was a totally inadequate spy. So, on that enticing note: the reread of William Sleator's House of Stairs.
Also, change of plans! The L'Engle reread will now be starting in November, instead of next week. This change, plus the heading to Gainesville and
coldecho's visit next week, means that next week will be another quick filler post, and then either Susan Cooper or Edith Nesbit.
My apologies to those of you trying to read along or read in advance: I promise, once I start with either Cooper or Nesbit, I'll be sticking with them for at least a few weeks!
