marinessFor once, Slate has a good article on illegal downloading and why Hollywood needs to get its act together.
Based on what I admit is mostly anecdotal data, most people are fine with paying for their television/movie entertainment. This is not to say that we'll ever stop illegal downloads -- people used to sneak into opera houses for free, too. But we can certainly make it easier for people to pay for entertainment.
