What if other authors had written the Wheel of Time series?

While I sit and stare at things in Word that are refusing to build into words, someone else has been merrily speculating about what would have happened if other authors had written the Wheel of Time series.

(And yes, I am still musing over a couple of posts about that series and its end. Possibly forthcoming.)
