So having just melted the popcorn popper on the stove (you probably don't want to know) and simultaneously destroying both it and one of the burners and leaving one major mess, I find myself in the need of a new popcorn popper. (Not a big fan of microwave popcorn.) Preferably a small one, since this is a small kitchen, but I can work around that.

Any suggestions, oh internets?

We've run through three of these Whirley Pop stovetop poppers in three decades. Does a great job of popping, but gets rather gnarly to clean, especially the gears on top (aerosolized olive oil does build up in scary ways).

So most recently we've just switched to our biggest soup pot. Add in 1/4 cup olive oil and 2/3 cup popcorn (and since we're Like That, sprinkle with nutritional yeast when we're done.)
