Lost - Ab Aeterno

In a direct contrast to what I was just complaining about with Flashfoward, I realized that although Lost has probably had a grand total of two or three, maybe four characters who have been likeable since their introduction and remained so (AND NONE OF THEM ARE KATE) most of them have at least had some likeable moments (again, except Kate) or some awesome to watch moments (do I need to mention the clear exception here?). So, even though the show makes considerably less sense, it remains considerably more watchable.

Especially when the show kindly gives me an episode without Kate. Good show! Let's follow that Kateless trend, shall we?

(Oh, and my theory? Richard was from either the Middle Ages or better yet the Roman Empire, thus all the Ricardus stuff. Not that this is the first time that I have been very wrong about this show.)

Other notes:

1. Lost, the show where the priests are meaner than the assassins. It's probably just me, but how many other people were thinking that the Vatican needs to take a serious look at adding "How to Comfort Death Row Prisoners" to its Tenerife Priest Training Program? And what sort of priest takes a Bible away from someone on Death Row? This is just so sad. Of course, this is the same island where doctors are prescribing cocaine for tuberculosis, so, no wonder Richard fit in so well with the Evil Island.

2. Ok, show. When this is over, I want a map that explains how the hell the Black Rock managed to crash into the Tawaret statue and yet end up at least a day's walk away and from what we've seen also over some very rugged terrain and yet never once smash up that dynamite, not to mention most of the people inside. I am CONFUUUUUUUUUUUUUSED!

3. Ok, I admit it. I don't care what form he's in: GO SMOKEY!

4. Jacob, causing shipwrecks, even shipwrecks killing mean British people, is not usually the sort of act associated with kindly, beneficial people. Just saying.

5. Holy )(**(*(**(& Jacob. You've been bringing boatloads and planeloads of people to the island where you know that they will all get killed off JUST TO PROVE A MORAL POINT? And you're attempting to claim that SMOKEY is the bad guy here?

(Ok, yes, I admit, Smokey the Serial Killer may not EXACTLY fit everyone's idea of a kindly sort either, but FEEDING THE SERIAL KILLER with shipwrecks and Dharma Initiative and whatever other people is NO IMPROVEMENT.)
