Aug. 27th, 2009 09:06 amSo over the next couple of days I'll be hosting an author chat over at Circlet Press. This is going to be eeennnteresting, partly because, as I've noted, I haven't been in much of a blogging mood, and mostly because this week I've been horrifically slammed with fatigue, to the point where I'm really wondering if I'm going to be making much if any sense. This is the first of a couple of planned entries out into the Wider World of Other Blogs, assuming all goes as planned, which it rarely does.
However, just so you don't feel quite deserted over here, I'll just note that the fatigue has not, alas, hit all members of the household in equal measure, and by all members, I am of course referring to the Little One who has rediscovered the fun of dashing madly about the apartment and flinging himself over furniture and onto other living creatures not entirely by accident, resulting in intense pain for both of the landing pads (the Grey One would like to inform you that fur does not provide as much protection as you would think in cases like this) and the Grey One, who would like to inform you all that it was raining yesterday, and it was raining yesterday evening, and raining, and raining, and she Does Not Like Rain, even though she is inside and mostly untouchable by rain. (Mostly because I did open the balcony door causing the Little One to take a mad dash outside onto the balcony and then an equally mad dash onto the Little One, making her fur WET, which as we all know is a calamity equal to THE COMPLETE LOSS OF CHOCOLATE IN THE UNIVERSE, or seems to be, based on the volume.) On the bright side, the fish remain relatively calm. Unless they see me nearing the fish tank, in which case they go mad.
Oh, and for those of you curious to know what happens when bears go skateboarding, it's this.
Anyway, come and join me, if you like. I plan to mostly chat about fairy tales and sex, and really, who doesn't want to talk about that?
