Ok, I lied. (Not intentionally, but I lied.) I do have a Tor.com post up today, about L. Frank Baum's Sky Island. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately), I suspect you are all too riveted to the Cooks Source imbroglio, to notice any of this, since that is not only trending on Twitter now (whee!) but, the internet informs me, has now expanded to stealing from Disney, which, let me assure you, is never, ever a good idea, and by never, ever, I mean, honestly, really, never; you'd be better off lying down and having Bambi stomp on you for killing his mother before leaving you in a forest fire. Less painful, and you'll feel less guilty afterwards. Trust me.

Totally! I am so cranky that I don't have time to _read_ the thing, though I did read the pages surrounding my (surprise, to me) appearance.

For what it's worth I probably would have put you in the Brown Ajah (which is where I am).

Somewhere between Brown and Blue, I would think befits an appellate lawyer who went into the profession for public service. But yeah, if personality had anything to do with it, not White.

I'm not heroic or passionate enough to enter the Blue. Which is ok. If I ever ended up in Tar Valon I might never ever leave the library, much less notice any assassins or Black Ajah behind me.

But I'd be very happy as the knife or One Power slid through :)

I can definitely see either Blue or possibly Grey for an attorney, although if my memory of books still packed away in boxes serves, the two people who knew the specifics of the Law of War (or whatever that was) were Brown and Blue.
