Merry Day!

Hark, the genre bloggers sing
it's time for us to do this thing
Send holiday greetings to one and all,
or chatter about our holiday haul,
Or tell the word about our books
for sale with some pleading looks –
Or write a poem, or two, or three,

And so I jump into the fray,
to wish you a happy day –
Whether or not you celebrate
And even if you are gripped with hate.

And though it's a bit early,
I'll say this with glee
Before I disappear –
to one and all, Happy New Year!
