Five Children and It

Despite appearances, I have not actually abandoned Livejournal and Dreamwidth -- first I had the con, and then recovery from con fatigue, a slightly sore wrist and one exciting bruise on my leg, absolutely none of which has to deal with the torn pajamas. (Really.)

Will no one think of Oscar?

In all the terror of the "disclosure" that Bert and Ernie have been not so secretly living in sin all of these years, and will now not be allowed to make honest Muppets of each other, have we all forgotten that Oscar is STILL LIVING IN A GARBAGE CAN? Oh, Sesame Street. Whatever happened to your message of sharing?

But while I'm on the subject, Sesame Street, you do realize that if you are right, and Muppets have no sexual orientation, that whole Miss Piggy and Kermit thing just got a lot more disturbing?

Lessons learned from Gen Con

The initial, picture-free report! (I haven't actually had the chance to look through my pictures yet, not that I took many since my cheap camera kept objecting to the light, even when my camera and I were in nice cheery sunlight.)
